Injuries reported in Wise Co. crash involving vehicle and go-kart

BOYD, TX – Several juveniles were hurt Friday afternoon in a major accident involving a passenger vehicle and a go-kart in southeast Wise County, reports DFW Scanner.

The collision occurred sometime before 3:42 p.m. in the area of 1100 County Road 4764 in Boyd. This is just west of the intersection with Private Road 4624. Boyd is about 30 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

Police haven’t yet disclosed what caused the two vehicles to collide, nor do we know how many people were involved. An air ambulance responded to the scene, and at least one person sustained serious injuries.

Drivers likely encountered delays along County Road 4764 while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
