2-vehicle crash involving semi on I-30WB near Walsh Ranch kills teen
ALEDO, TX – A 17-year-old boy died Monday night in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler along the interstate in southeast Parker County, reports DFW Scanner.
The accident happened around 10:14 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 near Walsh Ranch Parkway in the suburb of Aledo. This is about 19 miles west of Fort Worth.
Police say the victim failed to slow for stopped traffic and rear-ended a semi-truck along I-30 westbound.
The driver of the passenger vehicle died at the scene of the collision.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
