Semi catches fire on US-287 SB near Bonds Ranch Rd, delaying traffic
FORT WORTH, TX – Motorists encountered significant delays Wednesday afternoon when a semi-truck ignited along the highway in north-central Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident occurred sometime before 12:40 p.m. on the southbound side of US-287 near West Bonds Ranch Road, which is in the Dorado Ranch area.
It is unclear at this time if an accident caused the 18-wheeler to catch fire and, if so, if other vehicles were involved. Photos taken at the scene show a semi fully engulfed in flames.
There’s no word yet regarding injuries or hospitalizations.
Officials urged drivers to avoid the area while emergency teams worked to contain the fire and clear the wreckage.
