Multi-vehicle accident on I-35W NB near Crawford Rd kills 3

ARGYLE, TX – Three people died Saturday evening from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash along the interstate in southwestern Denton County, reports DFW Scanner.

The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on the northbound side of I-35W near Crawford Road in the city of Argyle. This is about 29 miles north of Fort Worth.

Police haven’t yet identified the cause of the crash, but they say it involved six vehicles. In addition to the three fatalities, multiple people were hurt, and several ambulances reported to the scene.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the names of the victims.

Officials closed the northbound side of the interstate in the area of the crash while crews worked at the scene.
