Murphy motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle crash at E Park and San Gabriel

PLANO, TX – A multi-vehicle accident at a busy Plano intersection resulted in fatal injuries for a 27-year-old motorcyclist on Saturday, reports the Murphy Monitor.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. at East Park Boulevard and San Gabriel Drive, which is just east of Bob Woodruff Park on the northeast side of the city.

Police say that the westbound motorcyclist struck an eastbound Cadillac while turning left onto East Park Boulevard. The impact ejected the motorcyclist and caused both vehicles to hit two other vehicles in the intersection.

Authorities declared the biker, identified as Antonio Thomas Elizondo, deceased at the scene of the accident.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the collision.

Drivers likely encountered delays near East Park and San Gabriel while emergency teams responded to the crash and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
