Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash on TX-322 at CR 240

RUSK CO., TX – One person sustained serious injuries Sunday in a single-vehicle crash along the highway between Craig and Longview, reports CBS 19.

Emergency teams responded to TX-322 near County Road 240 around 11:30 a.m. This is about 8 miles south of East Texas Regional Airport in Longview.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim lost control of their motorcycle and crashed along the highway.

Medics airlifted the victim to a hospital in Tyler with unspecified injuries.

Drivers likely encountered delays along TX-322 south of Longview on Sunday while crews gathered evidence, assisted the victim, and worked to clear the scene.
