Jed Hernandez, 22, seriously hurt in Lubbock motorcycle crash
LUBBOCK, TX – A 22-year-old man was hurt last Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on the west side of Lubbock, reports Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Milwaukee Avenue, which is just southwest of the Gardens at Shadow Hills.
Police say that a northbound motorcycle collided with a car when the latter vehicle entered Milwaukee from a private drive.
The motorcyclist, since identified as Jed Hernandez, went to University Medical Center with serious injuries. It’s unclear if he was wearing a safety helmet at the time of the wreck.
The other driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.
