1 killed in car vs. semi crash at Parker and Elaine

WYLIE, TX – One person sustained fatal injuries last Wednesday in a major accident involving a sedan and an 18-wheeler in Wylie, reports WFAA News 8.

Emergency teams reported to Parker Road and Elaine Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. This is just northwest of Kingsbridge Park on the northwest side of the city.

Police aren’t yet certain what caused the crash, which they say caused a Volkswagen Jetta to become stuck beneath the rear of the semi-truck.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the collision.
