David Gomez, 22, seriously injured in 2-vehicle Lubbock crash

LUBBOCK, TX – One man was badly hurt Sunday evening in a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in southwest Lubbock, reports everythingLubbock.

The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. on 50th Street between Chicago Avenue and Slide Road. This is east of Ratliff Park.

Police say that an eastbound motorcycle struck a passenger car as the driver of the latter vehicle exited a parking lot onto 50th Street.

The motorcyclist, identified as 22-year-old David Gomez, went to the hospital with serious injuries.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
