Joshua Huffman, 21, deceased after crash on FM 2223 near Bryan

BRAZOS CO, TX – A 21-year-old man from Mississippi died last Wednesday in a wrong-way collision in central Brazos County, reports WTAW.

The accident happened in the morning on FM 2223 near East Old San Antonio Road, which is near Walker Settlement Cemetery.

Police say that a southbound pickup truck entered the northbound side of FM 2223 and collided head-on with a dual rear-wheel truck.

The wrong-way driver, identified as Joshua Huffman, died at the scene of the accident.

Medics transported the other driver to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

There’s no word yet regarding what may have caused Huffman to veer into oncoming traffic. A full investigation is underway.
