Michael Frantom, 30, killed in NW Dallas motorcycle crash
DALLAS, TX – A 30-year-old man died last Friday evening when a vehicle struck his motorcycle at a busy Dallas intersection, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. just north of Trammell Crow Park at the intersection of Irving Boulevard and Sylvan Avenue. This is near the Design District.
Police say that a northbound truck struck a southbound motorcycle when the driver of the truck made a left turn from Irving onto Sylvan.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities identified him as Michael Frantom.
The other driver, later identified as 21-year-old Jonathan Salazar Garcia, fled the scene of the accident. Authorities located and arrested Salazar Garcia not long after the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
