RV driver critically hurt after hitting home near Granbury and Hulen
FORT WORTH, TX – A man sustained serious injuries Friday afternoon in a fiery crash involving an RV in southwest Fort Worth, reports Fox 4 News.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. in the Wedgwood West area, near the intersection of Granbury Road and Hulen Street. This is east of the Chisholm Trail Parkway and west of Wedgwood Middle School.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of an RV lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a home. The RV caught fire upon impact, entrapping the driver.
Medics transported the driver of the RV to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The occupants of the home were not injured in the crash.
