Rebecca Franklin, Nikolas Trapp killed in Bryan wrong-way crash
BRYAN, TX – Two adults died, and another sustained injuries Sunday in a head-on accident along the highway in southwest Bryan, reports KCEN 6 News.
Shortly before 2 a.m. emergency teams responded to the northbound side of the John Sharp Parkway between West Villa Maria Road and Turkey Creek after reports of a major wreck.
Police say that a southbound 2017 Honda Accord collided head-on with a northbound 2019 Honda Civic, damaging both vehicles and killing both drivers at the scene.
Authorities identified the victims as 29-year-old Rebecca Franklin and 19-year-old Nikolas Trapp.
Medics transported a passenger from the Civic to an area hospital with critical injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash.
