Karen Huey, 63, and Jaelen Green, 21, killed in Erath Co. crash
ERATH CO., TX – A man and woman died last Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in northeast Erath County, reports WFAA News 8.
The accident occurred on Highway 281 just north of Private Road 719 between Stephenville and Santo. This is about 65 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the 63-year-old driver of a northbound Cadillac CT5 left her lane of travel and crashed into a northbound Hyundai Santa Fe.
Authorities pronounced both drivers deceased at the scene. They’ve since been identified as Karen Huey of Lipan and 21-year-old Jaelen Green of Watauga.
Medics transported a passenger from the Hyundai, identified as 22-year-old Nicole Doggett, to an area hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
