Renee Gonzalez, 65, killed in Parker Co. pedestrian crash
PARKER CO., TX – A Springtown woman died Monday night when a vehicle struck her along the highway in northeast Parker County, reports My Texas Daily.
The accident happened just northwest of Springtown on TX-199. This is about 30 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
Police say that an eastbound 2017 Honda Accord struck a pedestrian that was standing in the roadway. The victim, identified as 65-year-old Renee Gonzalez, sustained fatal injuries.
The 18-year-old driver did not sustain injuries in the wreck.
No charges have been announced, and a full investigation is underway.
