Vincent McKnight, 54, fatally injured in Killeen collision

KILLEEN, TX – A 54-year-old man died Sunday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in west Killen, reports KWTX 10.

Around 2:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the area of 3200 West Stan Schlueter Loop, between Bunny Trail and Lonesome Dove Drive. This in near the CVS and just northeast of Walmart Supercenter.

Police say that an eastbound white Jeep Cherokee struck a black Jeep Patriot when the latter vehicle entered Stan Schlueter from a parking lot.

Medics airlifted the driver of the Patriot, identified as Vincent McKnight, to an area hospital. McKnight died from his injuries not long after transport.

The driver of the Cherokee went to the hospital in stable condition and with unknown injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
