Jake Boorgie, 35, killed in N Odessa motorcycle collision

ODESSA, TX – A 35-year-old man died Monday in a two-vehicle accident at a busy intersection on the north side of Odessa, reports NewsWest 9.

The crash occurred late at night at the intersection of Andrews Highway and Yukon Road. This is just southwest of Odessa-Schleymeyer Field Airport.

Police say the motorcyclist ran a red light while turning left at the intersection and collided with a northbound Nissan SUV.

The motorcyclist, identified as Jake Boorgie, died at the scene of the wreck.

No other injuries have been reported thus far in connection to the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
