Vinita Hobbs, 66, claimed in Seminole pedestrian crash
SEMINOLE, TX – A 66-year-old woman died last Thursday night when a vehicle struck her along the highway in central Gaines County, reports KCBD 11.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. at US 385 and FM 1788 on the south side of Seminole. This is about 63 miles northwest of Odessa.
Police say that a southbound car carrying two people hit a female pedestrian as she was walking across the highway.
The pedestrian, identified as Vinita Gayle Hobbs, sustained fatal injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries; it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
