Priscella Owens, 83, killed in crash at Waterview Dr, Quail Ln
ARLINGTON, TX – An elderly woman died Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in southwest Arlington, reports WFAA News 8.
The accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. at Waterview Drive and Quail Lane, which is just northwest of Ditto Elementary School and east of Lake Arlington.
Police say the victim experienced a medical episode, causing her car to rear-end another vehicle near the intersection.
The driver of the first vehicle, since identified as 83-year-old Priscella Owens, died after transport to an area hospital. It’s unclear if her death was caused by the medical episode or by injuries related to the wreck.
The second driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
