Taunya Freeman, Kianna White killed in Fort Worth pile-up
FORT WORTH, TX – A multi-vehicle crash along a major roadway in south-central Fort Worth killed three people and injured five others on Saturday, reports WFAA News 8 and Fox 4 KDFW.
Emergency teams received word of a pile-up collision involving at least three vehicles shortly after 4 a.m. in the area of 700 West Risinger Road. This is between I-35W and Technology Boulevard.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident, but they say a silver car carrying three teens was sandwiched between a pickup truck and one other vehicle.
The driver of the silver car and a passenger sustained fatal injuries. Authorities identified them as 19-year-old Taunya Freeman and 19-year-old Kianna White.
Medics transported another passenger from the silver car, identified as 18-year-old Kiara White, to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities have not yet identified the third person who died in the wreck, nor have they shared any details regarding the additional victims who were hurt.
A full investigation is underway.
