Colby Fisher fatally injured in motorcycle crash in Bryan

BRYAN, TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries last Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in south-central Bryan, reports KBTX 3.

The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. at East Villa Maria Road and Cavitt Avenue, which is east of Country Club Lake and west of Tejas Center.

Police say that the motorcycle operator was likely speeding when he lost control of his westbound bike, entered the eastbound side of Villa Maria Road, and collided head-on with an eastbound pickup truck.

The motorcyclist, identified as Colby Fisher of Brookshire, died after transport to an area hospital.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
