Pedestrian struck, killed on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, TX – A fatality has been reported this week in connection to an auto-pedestrian crash along a major roadway in southwest Fort Worth.
According to DFW Scanner, the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 6700 block of Camp Bowie Boulevard, which is just southeast of North Z Boaz Park and west of the Ridglea Country Club.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that the driver stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
The victim’s identity has not been released to the public, pending next-of-kin notification.
Motorists likely encountered evening rush-hour delays along Camp Bowie Boulevard in the area of the collision while emergency teams worked at the scene.
