T-bone crash at TX-302 and FM 866 kills Kevin Pinon-Bailon
ODESSA, TX – A Seminole man died Sunday morning in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in central Ector County, reports NewsWest 9.
Emergency teams reported to the intersection of TX-302 and FM 866 around 6:30 a.m. after receiving word of a major accident. This is on the far northwest side of West Odessa.
Police say that an eastbound a 2016 Freightliner struck the side of a northbound 2018 Ford F-150 when the driver of the pickup failed to stop and yield at the intersection.
The driver of the pickup, identified as 28-year-old Kevin Pinon-Bailon, died at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported the driver of the 18-wheeler to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The crash likely caused delays Sunday morning at the intersection of TX-302 and FM 866 while emergency teams responded.
