Motorcycle and car collide in SW Waco, killing Avinlea Yeatman

WACO, TX – A 35-year-old motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision on the southwest side of Waco, reports KWTX 10.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m., Waco Police and EMS responded to a major accident at the intersection of Bosque Boulevard and North 46th Street near HEB and the Extraco Events Center.

According to police, the eastbound motorcycle struck a northbound Toyota Prius as the driver of the latter vehicle turned onto Bosque Boulevard.

The biker, identified as Avinlea Yeatman, died after transport to an area hospital.

There were no other passengers on the motorcycle at the time of the collision, and no other injuries have been reported at this time.

A full investigation is underway.
