1 loses life to wrong-way collision in Fort Worth’s Morningside area

FORT WORTH, TX – One person lost their life to a wrong-way collision that occurred in the Morningside district Sunday, according to NBCDFW. 

The events unraveled around 1 a.m. when a motorist was driving south on northbound I-35W and crashed into another vehicle. The passenger of the wrong-way vehicle died from their injuries at the scene, while both drivers were left in serious condition. 

EMS crews transported the surviving drivers to a hospital. 

Police are actively working to determine why the driver was driving the wrong way. At this time, no criminal charges seemed to have been filed against the wrong-way motorist.
