Collision on I-35 in Round Rock kills Quinn Stegall, 2 others

ROUND ROCK, TX – A multi-vehicle crash along the interstate in Williamson County claimed three lives early Sunday, reports KXAN.

Emergency crews responded to a fatality accident on I-35 north of East Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock around 2 a.m. This is south of the Chasco Family YMCA.

Police say that a drunk driver likely caused the three-vehicle collision, but they’ve not yet shared any additional details about the circumstances of the accident or the manner in which the cars impacted.

Photos taken at the scene depict an overturned silver sedan with extensive damage. A blue passenger vehicle is also visible at the scene.

On Monday, Round Rock Police released the names of the three people who died in the accident. The victims were identified as 49-year-old Maximo Ramirez, 21-year-old Quinn Stegall, and 38-year-old Agustin Guillen.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Kearra Thomas on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

The investigation is ongoing.
