Man charged in Fort Worth DWI crash that killed Rob Rose, 73
FORT WORTH, TX – One man died, and another was arrested following a rear-end collision along the interstate in eastern Fort Worth late last month, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The two-vehicle crash happened sometime after 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 22nd, on the eastbound side of I-30 near South Beach Street, which is just southwest of Gateway Park and east of Harmon Field Park.
Police say that 31-year-old Tristan Mayen was likely intoxicated when he drove his Chevy Silverado into the back of an eastbound Toyota Tacoma.
The driver of the Tacoma, identified as 73-year-old Rob Rose, died at the scene of the accident.
Officials arrested Mayen on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
Drivers likely faced delays along I-30 in the area of the crash while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
