Pedestrian hit and run on I-10 WB claims Albert Pelletier, 65
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 65-year-old man died early Monday when a vehicle struck him along the interstate in northwest San Antonio, reports KSAT 12.
The auto-pedestrian crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. on westbound side of I-10 near West Hildebrand Avenue, which is near the Los Angeles Heights neighborhood.
Police say that an unidentified driver struck Albert Pelletier as the pedestrian was walking along the highway. The driver did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.
Pelletier succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
As the investigation continues, San Antonio Police are still looking for the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision. Anyone with information or tips can contact the San Antonio Police Department.
