Felipe Gonzales critically injured in Waco dog attack on Dutton Ave
WACO, TX – A man went to the hospital earlier this week after he was attacked by several dogs in a residential neighborhood in Waco, reports KWTX News 10.
The incident occurred on Monday along Dalton Street, which runs northeast to southwest from South University Parks Drive to South Valley Mills Drive. Police haven’t yet provided a cross street for the attack.
The investigation thus far indicates that five dogs attacked a man while he was mowing a neighbor’s yard. The man fell during the attack, hit is head, and sustained a head injury.
The victim, identified as Felipe Gonzales, went to the hospital with a severe brain bleed later that evening. Gonzales underwent surgery for the head injury and remains in the hospital.
Authorities have not yet disclosed any information about the dogs’ owners or any charges they may face in connection to the attack.
