Solo crash at Pebble Hills, Joe Battle claims Eric Berry

EL PASO, TX – A 45-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Thursday in a motorcycle collision along a major roadway in northeast El Paso, reports KVIA 7.

The accident happened just prior to 11:30 p.m. at the roundabout on westbound Pebble Hills Boulevard just before Joe Battle Boulevard in the Sun Ridge North neighborhood.

Police say the biker was likely speeding when he lost control of the motorcycle while navigating the roundabout, struck the curb, and crashed.

The motorcyclist, identified as Eric Berry, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Saturday.

The accident likely caused delays in the area of Pebble Hills and Joe Battle on Thursday night while emergency crews worked at the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
