Conroe PD responds to double-fatality crash on White Oak Blvd

CONROE, TX – A fiery crash on the northwest side of Conroe killed two people and injured several others Saturday morning, reports abc 13 News.

Around 2 a.m., emergency teams responded to a single-vehicle accident on White Oak Boulevard near Park Boulevard. This is west of I-45 and just northwest of Giesinger Elementary School.

Police say that a speeding driver lost control of a westbound vehicle carrying five passengers, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree. The car ignited, entrapping two of the occupants.

Authorities declared the 22-year-old driver and one passenger deceased at the scene. Their names have not yet been released to the public.

Medics transported four people to area hospitals with critical injuries.

Officials are working to determine the condition of the driver at the time of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
