Motorcycle hits Audi on I-35 in Temple, killing Tobi Moss
TEMPLE, TX – A Decatur man sustained fatal injuries Tuesday morning in a motorcycle collision along the interstate in southeast Temple, reports KCENTV 6.
The two-vehicle crash occurred sometime before 6 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35 near mile marker 299, which is just east of the Islamic Society of Central Texas.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a motorcyclist rear-ended an Audi along the interstate before losing control and leaving the highway.
The motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Tobi Moss Jr., succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.
Officials closed the northbound side of I-35 in the area of the accident while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
