Jennifer Eureste, 43, killed in San Antonio pedestrian crash
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 43-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Sunday in an auto-pedestrian accident on the west side of San Antonio, reports KSAT 12.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the northwest corner of San Fernando Cemetery and the intersection of South General McMullen and Castroville Road.
Police say that a female pedestrian was standing on the median at the intersection when a sedan jumped the curb and hit her.
The pedestrian, identified as Jennifer Eureste, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.
There were no other injuries associated with the crash.
Authorities say the driver, identified only as an elderly man with compromised vision, is unlikely to face charges.
A full investigation is underway.
