Hilda Hernandez, 1 other killed in collision on Fischer Rd
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people died, and two others sustained injuries Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in southwest San Antonio.
According to KSAT 12 News, the collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Fischer Road between I-35 and Campground Road, which is just northwest of Frontera Crossing.
Police say that the driver of a westbound Ford Mustang lost control while speeding and impacted with a Ford Fusion.
Authorities declared both drivers deceased at the scene, identifying them as 28-year-old Hilda Rivera Hernandez and 45-year-old Richard Garcia.
It’s not yet clear which victim was driving which vehicle.
Medics transported a passenger from each vehicle to an area hospital with serious injuries.
No charges have been filed so far.
