2-car crash on FM 2210 near Westbrook claims Carl Thomas
JACK CO., TX – A 33-year-old man sustained fatal injuries Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in southeast Jack County, reports News Channel 6.
The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. along FM 2210 near Westbrook, which is approximately 17 miles southeast of Jacksboro and 44 miles northwest of Fort Worth. Officials haven’t provided a cross street or mile marker for the wreck.
Police say that a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided with a car when the driver of the latter vehicle ran a stop sign at an intersection along FM 2210.
The driver of the car died at the scene. Authorities identified him as Carl Lorne James Thomas of Mineral Wells.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash, and no charges are pending at this time.
