Fatality reported in crash on TX-85 WB in Frio Co.

DILLEY, TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to a crash that happened earlier this week in southern Frio County.

According to News 4 San Antonio, the accident occurred sometime before 6 p.m. Tuesday on TX-85 westbound in the city of Dilley, which is approximately 72 miles southwest of San Antonio.

Police haven’t yet named the victim(s), nor have they commented on the cause of the collision, the number of cars involved, or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.

Officials closed TX-85 westbound in the area of the crash while emergency teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene. Drivers were encouraged to seek an alternate route.
