Pedestrian crash on Randol Mill Rd claims Joseph Osborn
ARLINGTON, TX- A truck struck and fatally injured a 76-year-old man in central Arlington on the morning of Halloween, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The auto-pedestrian crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on West Randol Mill Road between North Cooper Street and North Center Street. This is just northeast of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Police say that Joseph Osborn attempted to cross Randol Mill outside of a designated crosswalk when a westbound construction truck hit him. Dark road conditions and low visibility may have been factors in the accident.
Osborn succumbed to his injuries five days after the collision at an area hospital.
The driver of the construction truck stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
