Pamela Martin, Garrett Wong killed in Van Alstyne crash

VAN ALSTYNE, TX – Emergency teams responded to a double-fatality accident in southeastern Grayson County on Wednesday, reports KTEN 10.

Shortly before 3 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of FM 121 and Jim Jones Road in Van Alstyne, which is approximately 31 miles northeast of Plano.

Police say that the driver of a car failed to yield right of way at the intersection, causing a crash involving a motorcycle.

Both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities identified the victims as Pamela Martin and Garrett Wong.

There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
