Vehicle crashes into home in NE Temple, injuring 2
TEMPLE, TX – Two people were hospitalized Monday morning when a vehicle crashed into a house in northeast Bell County, reports KCENTV 6.
The accident occurred sometime before 9 a.m. on East Zenith Avenue between Main Street and 4th Street in Temple, about 35 miles southwest of Waco.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a black sedan lost control of their vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed through the exterior wall of a brick house.
The driver, who has not yet been named by police, fled the scene of the crash but returned not long after.
One person required hospitalization for serious injuries, and another was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding charges.
A full investigation is underway.
