Larissa Herold killed in multi-vehicle crash on W Parmer Ln

AUSTIN, TX – A 26-year-old woman died Saturday in a four-vehicle collision along a major roadway in north-central Travis County, reports KVUE.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to West Parmer Lane near MoPac Expressway in north Austin. This is just east of Balcones Youth Sports.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the crash.

One person, since identified as Larissa Herold, died after transport to an area hospital.

Medics transported one other adult to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials closed both sides of Parmer Lane in the area of the crash while teams gathered evidence, attended to the victims, and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
