Rollover on TX-207 near Borger claims Kristen Chisum-Floyd

CARSON CO., TX – A Stinnett woman died, and five people were hurt in a crash that occurred on Thanksgiving in north-central Carson County, reports News Channel 10.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, emergency teams responded to a rollover crash along TX-207 just south of Borger, which is approximately 50 miles northeast of Amarillo.

Police say that a northbound Ford Expedition carrying three adults and three children overturned when the driver swerved to avoid a southbound Ford F-350 that had entered the wrong side of the highway.

The driver of the Expedition, identified as 42-year-old Kristen Chisum-Floyd, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

Medics transported all five passengers to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s unclear if the driver of the F-350 will face charges.

A full investigation is underway.
