San Juana Ramirez IDed as victim in Orange Grove collision

ORANGE GROVE, TX – A three-vehicle collision in northeast Jim Wells County killed one person and injured two others on Monday morning, reports KRIS 6 News.

Around 10:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to fatal accident at the intersection of FM 624 and County Road 305 in Orange Grove, which is around 35 miles northwest of Corpus Christi.

Police say that the driver of a 2010 Ford Fusion ignored a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into a pickup truck. The initial collision pushed the pickup truck into a a Toyota Venza.

The driver of the Venza, identified as San Juana Ramirez, sustained fatal injuries.

Medics transported the other two drivers to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.

No charges have been announced thus far, but the crash remains under investigation.
