El Paso PD charges Carlos Molinar in Yucca Village injury crash
EL PASO, TX – An alleged drunk driver crashed into a Yucca Village-area home Monday evening, injuring an elderly woman, reports KFOX 14.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Sun Valley Drive and Sharp Drive, just east of FM 2529 in northeast El Paso.
Police say that 67-year-old Carlos Molinar was intoxicated when he lost control of his 2024 Chevy Silverado and slammed into the bedroom of an area home.
Medics transported an elderly woman from the home to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Charges have been filed against Molinar but have not yet been made public.
A full investigation is underway.
