Sedan fatally hits Stacy Rodriguez at Bandera Rd, Loop 1604
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 36-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Friday in an auto-pedestrian crash at a busy intersection in Bexar County.
According to News4SA, the accident happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Bandera Road near West Loop 1604 in the Stanton Run area of northwest San Antonio.
Police say that Stacy Rodriguez may have been engaged in an argument when she stepped into the path of an oncoming white sedan on Bandera Road.
Rodriguez died not long after transport to an area hospital.
The driver involved in the collision stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
