Motorcycle crash on Calton Rd in Laredo injures Lauro Perez Jr.
LAREDO, TX – Two men went to the hospital Wednesday following a collision along a major roadway in southwest Webb County, reports KGNS.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a motorcycle accident on Calton Road between San Francisco Avenue and Gallagher Avenue in Laredo.
Police say that the driver of an eastbound Chevy Malibu turned right into the path of a westbound Harley Davidson driven by 54-year-old Lauro Luis Perez Jr. The two vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries.
The driver of the Chevy also required hospitalization for non-life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been announced thus far.
A full investigation is underway.
