Solo crash on I-35 NB in NE Temple claims Joseph Bendzick, 68
TEMPLE, TX – A Minnesota man died Tuesday in a single-vehicle car accident along the interstate in northeast Bell County, reports KCENTV 6.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the northbound side of I-35 near TX-363 in northeast Temple, about 35 miles southwest of Waco.
Police say that for unknown reasons, 68-year-old Joseph Bendzick lost control of his vehicle on the interstate, causing it to crash into a concrete pillar.
Bendzick succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
Officials closed I-35 northbound in the area of the crash while teams gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
