Bexar Co. pedestrian crash on TX-1604 claims Brandon Rogers
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 27-year-old man sustained fatal injuries when a vehicle struck him on Valentine’s Day along a busy roadway in northeast San Antonio.
According to KSAT 12, the accident happened shortly before 11 p.m. on the East Charles William Anderson Loop, or Loop 1604, near Bulverde Road. This is just west of Rolling Oaks Mall.
Police say the victim was walking along the eastbound side of Loop 1604 when an eastbound car hit him.
The pedestrian, identified as Brandon Michael Rogers, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
There’s no word yet regarding charges, as the investigation continues.
