DeAnthony Glenn fatally struck on bicycle at TX-6, Pebble Lake

HOUSTON, TX – A teen cyclist died last weekend after a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in northwest Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.

Around 11:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to a fatal accident on TX-6 near Pebble Lake Drive, just north of Easton Commons Plaza.

Police say that a Jeep Wrangler struck 14-year-old DeAnthony Glenn as the cyclist attempted to cross the highway.

Medics airlifted Glenn to an area hospital with critical injuries; he died shortly thereafter.

The driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.

No charges have been announced thus far, as the investigation continues.
