Xochitl Ramos IDed as victim in crash with semi near 13200 I-35

AUSTIN, TX – A 22-year-old woman died on Valentine’s Day in a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in north Austin, reports CBS Austin.

Shortly after 4:15 a.m., emergency crews responded to the southbound service road of I-35 between Center Ridge Drive and West Parmer Lane in the Tech Ridge area.

Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger car.

Authorities declared the driver of the car deceased at the scene, identifying her as Xochitl Garcia Ramos.

The truck driver stopped to render aid and to speak with police.

A full investigation is underway.
