Vehicle strikes, kills Mary Acosta at E Broadview, Bandera

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 27-year-old woman died Wednesday morning in an auto-pedestrian collision in northwest San Antonio, reports KSAT 12.

Around 6 a.m., emergency crews responded to a fatal crash at Bandera Road and East Broadview Drive in the Inspiration Hills area.

Police say that Mary Acosta was walking outside of a designated crosswalk when an unidentified vehicle struck and killed her.

The driver involved in the accident did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.

While a witness did stop to speak with police, they’ve not yet released a description of the suspect or the car involved in the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
